Name- Cancer: The Crab.
Dates- June 21 – July 22

The Myth: Cancer is the Crab sent by Hera to bite the heel of Hercules during his battle with the 9 headed Hydra. Despite the distraction, Hercules crushed the crab with his foot and then cut off the Hydra's immortal head, killing it as well.
Some say that Hera placed the Crab in the heavens as a reward for sacrificing its life. Others say that Zeus put it there to honor Hercules' victory and to remind Hera of her failure.
